If you read his other post about if a 300 will pull a 3x16" plow, I figured he wanted to use this plow. He may be cleaning and painting the rest of it too, but if he's going to use it, it will sure do a better job and pull a lot easier if the moldboards scour. 300 is going to have a tough enough time pulling it even if it's polished up.
