Wire wheel works ok to get the moldboards back into shape. I use a long handled grill scraper and scrap them off after every pass to get them scouring after that. You can't just run them dirty or they will never scour (in our dirt. I hear sand is a different story)
Of late, people are asking $300+ for a plow. IMO that is nuts. I bought 3 plows in the last ten years and haven't paid over $100 for any of them. On the other hand, if they are complete they are worth money. They don't make ANY wear parts for them anymore so completely functional ones are hard to find. Not sure how steel vs rubber tires effects the price. I like rubber bc you can take them on the road, but steel never gets a flat. :lol:
Yes, there are mobile sandblasters. Search CL. When I search sand blaster I see ads for people that do on site blasting.
