My uncle used to back his M into a low barn, and I could never figure out how he managed to do it. The door isn't a problem but the hay loft in back is pretty low, only about 7-1/2' off the ground.
It looked like there was only about a foot of clearance between the seat and the joists. I just don't know how he managed it. There's no way you'd be able to push that M in there with the loader and all...
The ultimate insult is that he bought a JD2010 to replace the M... Plenty of clearance in the barn now with that low utility tractor, but still... The man grew up on an IH farm! There was an odd Massey Harris, and one Oliver, but never anything THAT shade of green!
