I need to adjust the rear wheel width on an International tractor with wedge lock wheel hubs/axles. I do have the outside wedges on both wheels loose. Did this by soaking with penetrating oil and backing the bolt out using a cheater bar. Eventually the outer wedges came. I do not have the "horseshoe" tool from the factory. What are some ways to get the inner wedge loose? The bolts will come out and I can remove the outer wedge. Can I put a good size shaft in there after I remove the outer wedge and hammer on it with a sledge??? Any ideas will help. Thanks.
