Been trying to get my H to run rated speed. Governor seems to work well, but with hi idle screw backed off, soo that the arm is hitting the housing, it will only make about 520 rpm pto speed. The speed control lever is getting full travel, but no more rpm to be had. Is it possible that the spring is just getting weak?
Made all adjjustments according to the manual, and the governor seems to work properly, no excessive slop or wear. Any ideas?
