The worm is on the horizontal shaft. The sector is on the vertical. one easy way to tell is to remove the long bolt in the lower bolster flange that controls the steering limit, and see if it turns 360. If it stops turning just after going beyond the limit, it is 1/2 sector. If it turns 360 it is a full circle gear. Turn the wheels back to engage the sector if it a 1/2 gear. Do not drive it like this!! Jim
