I dropped off the block and head at the machine shop last week. Came back with good news, no cracks in either!!! Should be getting new hardened seats installed this week. I ordered my sleeve and piston kit and also waiting on gasket kit and various other items from Rice.
I wasn't happy with the look of the wire spokes on the front. I've got a couple sets of round spoke rear rims located and I'm just saving some money for those. So I was walking out at the farm the other day and ran across an old implement that had these round spoke F&H wheels. Anyone have a good guess to what they came off of?
With a little machine work I'll be able to use them. The rims themselves look to need a little repair work but in the end when they're matched with a set of round spoke rears I believe all the time spent will be well worth it!!
