Search the archives for a post I put up a while back on this. It has a link to a company called Por-15. They sell automotive resto chemicals. I have used their gas tank sealer and cleaner many times with much success. You can order online. Use the chain like 50 C suggested, but put in the cleaner too. This is an acid etch. It eats the rust scale. You then flush with water and coat with sealer. Alcohol fuel doesn't harm this sealer either.
