The short answer is no. You can only half remove the pump and do it. You have to take all the plumbing and the cap off the pump. Then support the bottom of the pump with a floor jack. Then screw 2-4 long (+3") 3/8" bolts in the holes. This will keep everything inline. Lower the pump with the jack and the thing will come out. Jack it back up and you are good to go.
