I own a 30 year old Cub Cadet 1650 with the Kohler 16 HP engine. Recently I have been having problems with the engine turning slowly when attempting to start, as if I had a weak battery. I replaced the battery, the starter and cleaned all connections but still having the same problem. A friend told me about a "relief valve" that is supposed to relieve the compression when the engine is being turned over to start and if that "relief valve" didn"t work, I would have the same problem I am having now. Does anyone have any experience with this and how to fix it? Many thanks, Pierre
