That part number is a nut with ferrele attatched to it. You slip it on the pipe, push pipe into fitting as far as it will go and tighten. This seals the ferrele on the pipe and it comes off the nut. Of course, you may need to cut a little off line to get a good spot for it to seal on. No sealer. Part number has been changed of course but same part. Hard to find at a general parts outlet but CASEIH carries them. They are illustrated in OEM on line parts catalog also.
