I split my super C and had no problem at all. I jacked the front end up a couple of inches to get the front wheels off the ground and supported the tractor with a jackstand under the bell housing. I then removed the front bolster (its heavy so be careful) and then unbolted the engine from the clutch housing and swung it out using an engine hoist. Not that hard.
