Just posting a follow up to say that I just had dual 4" hydraulic cylinders installed on my homemade M 3 point hitch to replace the 2" cylinders that were on it. The purpose of this was to increase the weight that I could pick up. Well, now, just as many of you had said, the ol' girl will pick up a 1300 pound hay bale although the front end won't stay on the ground. I was a little sceptical that the puny Lift-All pump could lift that much, but it does. Thanks for all your comments and advice. Long live the M Farmall (and this is coming from a diehard John Deere man).
