Is the charge pressure the same in both forward and reverse?
With the hydro in neutral there is no flow though the center section so there is no flow directed to the minimum pressure valve. The maximum pressure valve controls the pressure. When in neutral or reverse there is flow through the center section and returns to the multi valve and pressure is controlled by the minimum pressure valve. If the problem is in the minimum pressure valve the pressure should be same in both forward and reverse. If the pressures are not the same the problem may be a leak in the forward high pressure circuit.
If there is a problem with the charge pump you might also have problems with steering, especially at low idle speeds.
