An overhaul engine repower kit from Shoup @ 1-800-627-6137 is available for the 826 for $1239.65. For this money you get sleeve and piston assemblies, pins and retainers, piston rings, upper and lower gasket sets, and complete rod and main bearing sets. This plus a rework on the head should put you back to running in good condition and at a heck of a lot less than $10,000.
