A Delco 10SI has three connections. (easy fix) One is the primary charging wire #10 gauge it goes to the battery at the starter solenoid on the starter, or to the amp gauge if it has one. (I prefer to have it connect to the battery through a fuse link. This is a short special wire that is a fuse to protect the system. It should be rated at 5 amps over alternator output.) The #2 spade connection on the edge should have a short wire connected directly to the big main output discussed above. (6" of #12gauge wire) The #1 terminal is connected to the idiot light. The other terminal of the idiot light is connected to the ignition switch terminal that connects to the coil (or ballast resistor). A diode (3 amp 150piv) can be used instead of the idiot light (band end of the diode toward the alternator). Jim
