JW You donot need to pull the turbo and manifold to remove the pump. You just have to be carful with the injection lines. I have had many off 806 856 1206 1256 1456. If you remove the injectors you need to drain the antifreeze because there is a sleve around the injector that holds the antifreeze, if it comes out with injector the antrifreeze goes into to the engine. The timing mark is on the flywheel on left side of the tractor. Turn engine to TDC, the on the out side oj the injestor pump, there is a plate about 1/2" x 1' with 2 serws to hold it on. Take it off, behind you will see 2 disk, each will have a timing mard on it. If the disk to the back of the pump is the only 1 with the timing mark turn thr engine 360 degrees and the front disk will show the timing mark. Line the 2 marks up. Now you can remove the pump. Donot forget to shut off fuel. Hope this helps.
