If you are losing fluid but dont see any leaks the front seal on the pump is leaking fluid into the crankcase. There is a seal on the pump shaft and if the shaft is worn where the seal rides you need a speedy sleeve so the new seal can do its job. Thats the biggest problem on those units you wont know which seal you need until you remove and tear down the pump. Some just used an O-RING and others used a seal.
