Wilton, Iowa---Just like Garden City had Thurs. & Yesterday with winds blowing strong & never let up. Wondered if anything would be left. With that strong of wind, the barometer was down to 29.40 when I went to bed & the low was still Southwest of us. Wouldn't be surprised if it got down to 29.25. East winds are the worst--building sites aren't protected from East winds. I could make the wind stop blowing. All I'd have to do is put up a wind generator & it would never blow again. My 8th grade teacher would have said I have a bad attitude about the wind--maybe so.
