Got my Farmall 240 home and been doing a little looking around at the tractor for areas that need attention. It appears the original wire harnesses are still on the tractor with broken wires and cracked insulation in places. I'm thinking of removing all the sheet metal and doing a total rewire with new harnesses. When I restored my Super C I used a set of harnesses from Lloyd Bigler in Iowa. Haven't seen a recent ad of his anywhere for a few years now. Is anyone aware if he is still producing harnesses for IHC tractors and if so his present contact information. They are available from other sources like Brillman, Agri-Services and Porch Electric I've found. I was really happy with the ones from Lloyd as every terminal had a paper tag telling where and to what location it attached on the tractor. Don't have a clue about these other sources on quality, originality of wires, identification for installation, etc. Looking for suggestions and comments from folks who have used these sources for their originality restorations on their tractors. Thanks for your comments and responses, Hal.
