400/450 each had about 3 gal. of hyd. oil cap. Starting with 460/560 they used the top 6 or 7 gallons of Hy-tran in the trans. case. I have an I.H. 14 ft. barge wagon with a single-acting hyd. cyl. that was not the right cylinder for that long box and the 400(also the M) could not fully extend that cylinder. Also the 560 has an optional 16 gpm pump which I have installed on my 560D. Also don"t forget the dedicated power steering pump that is piggybacked onto the main hyd. pump which a better job of providing the proper amount of oil to the power steering. Armand
