The V-belt pulley has a tapered fitting that fits into the pulley and onto the belt pulley shaft and is pulled tight by its own bolts, so I don't need a bolt in the end of the shaft. The tractor does not have the 2nd belt pulley sleeve/spacer. So, the shaft turning inside the sleeve is the problem. I will try what you say and see if I can get them to turn together. If I had the sleeve and used it to make the other spacer turn with the shaft oil can still leak between the sleeve and the shaft. Thanks for the help.
