Thor: I live just across the Metro from you west of Mpls and the soil isn't as heavy as northwest Iowa. The 300 had 164 cuin vs the H's 152 and it was a little more modern design so it will handle more than the 2-14's or 2-16's common to the H. Please count on putting on weights and using 2ed gear which was considered plowing gear when new. Guy Fays book shows 25hp vs 31. (assume yours is in good shape?) Go for it. You may be able to remove the last bottom if need be but I doubt you will need to. Good luck. harvey
