The 300 was in some ways a replacement for the H however my information shows the H with about 20 drawbar hp while the 300 is rated at 27 while the M at about 32. So the 300 is between the H and M. I grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa and we pulled a 3-16 plow behind our Farmall 450 gas. We sometimes plowed with a Super H which had a tough time pulling 2-16's except in light soil. I think the 300 would probably handle 3-14's although probably not too fast. A lot depends upon your soil.
