My source says you are right about the year if it is indeed a Farmall 340 that was a row-crop version with either a narrow front or adjustable wide front. They also made an idustrial model that I think was sold as simply "International" that was a "utility" model and had a different set of serial numbers. The I-340 beginning serial number for 1959 was 2467, so the name and true model is important here. Based on the information you provide, I think it is a 1959. The TA was optional and the tractor could be had in either 2pt or 3pt configuration, the 3 point having "Traction-Control and Tel-A-Depth" which was a form of draft control.
