Bruce remove the small rear plate between the liftall and the transmission. More than likely the liftall is leaking at the liftall coupler and possibly through the liftall reservoir gasket. If that is the case, you will need a coupler seal and a reservoir gasket. To remove the liftall, drain the oil and remove the filler and outlet pipes and disconnect the activating arm. Turn the dog and female coupler on the liftall vertical. I don't recall if there is a drive shaft between the dog and coupler on the M. The parts book does not show one. Get help to remove the liftall. It weighs a good 100 pounds plus!

I have not had an M liftall apart so I will pass the torch at this point.
