I reinstalled the old governor I checked the compression Plug wires are on right With #1 cylinder TDC on compression roter is to #1 plug wire on the cap I put a carb off of another running tractor on it It is firing It is getting gas to the plugs I checked the valve train and push rods
When I try to start it the engine turns over good when I try to choke it or spray starting fluid in it the engine still acts like it is wanting to vapor lock, its like it just siezes up. I can let it set for just a bit and it will whirl over fine again. Every once in a while it will hit like it wants to start but thats it. To me it acts like it is flooded, I let it set over night with the plugs out, put new ones in and got the same thing. I am out of ideas on what to do.
