Bill is correct but actually there is a third problem that can cause this. If the fingers on the pressure placte are not adjusted correctly they will hit the throw-out bearing at different times. This will cause the clutch to drag. I had this happen also in an F-20. BTW, the oild in the tranny would not affect this problem.
