My husband has a mini excavator that won't start after winter. It did actually start and run for about a minute and then stopped. He took out the fuel filter and it was horribly icky. He couldn't find a replacement, so he cleaned it really good with starting fluid. It still wouldn't start. The battery is ok. Cany anyone give me any ideas on what it could be to try? Should the fuel filter be ok being cleaned like that to at least start? He's going to get a new one, but no one was open yesterday to buy a new one. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks so much. I think it's a model that has a 90 in it.
