No the threads are a standard thread, atleast they were on mine. Your best bet is to use as much gas as you can out of the big tank then switch the sediment bol back to where it's supposed to be. If you need a new sediment bowl they sell them here i tink or Case IH dealership. Your small tank must not be plumbed or all your lines are stretched out to fit that setup. Stock lines are to short to do the setu you have now unless you take the slack out of the curl in the main line. Also the sediment bowl will keep crap outa your carb.
