try some stopleak (I like subaru OEM from their parts counter) The hotter coil omly makes the necessary voltage to fire the plugs. So a coil able to produce 100,000 volts will only make 13,000 to fire the plug! Thus a good coil will make 20,000 easily. Do not waste you money. I would recheck the valve settings, put valve stem umbrella seals on the stems (can be done by removing the rockers, then putting about one foot of cotton rope in the cylinder, then raising the piston by hand to hold the valves shut, then removing the retainer and spring to put on the rubber umbrellas.)
