I dont see any reason mounting it back will stop the lift from working. Which lift levers did you get the two that raise each row or the one with a short lever and a long one that lifts both sides together. I hope you didnt get the levers for the Exhaust lift as they wont work for hand lift. They can be modified for hy lift. I have a set that was used for hy lift using a Char-Lynn Power Pac that runs off the pto. I have those systems also and they work well. I see what you are doing now and it should work if you can get the frame to clear the wide front. By moving it back should work just fine mite need to cut the outside tooling bars off a little to clear the tires. I do have cult parts if you need some.
