I believe the only things that are at risk with the 9 speed are the PTO and the belly pump. Both of these items will be turning at higher RPM's then they were designed for when running in high range as the entire transmission will be increased in RPM's not just the axles. I have an H and M both with the Heisler 9 speed upgrade and they have a belly pump lockout to disengage the belly pump when the 9 speed is engaged. You just have to remember not to engage the PTO and to disengage the belly pump as damage is possible. Hope this helps as they give you some nice useful speed ranges, Hal.
