I'm still working on hydraulics (fluid foams up after short time running). Went to Frost Farm (closest IH dealer) last weekend to see if they might have an intake elbow that I could retrofit to my hydraulic pump. My intake elbow is cracked and taking in air (my hypothesis). The maintenance manager at Frost Farm thinks the pump is bad.
I can get an elbow from Phoenix Hydraulics in UK for $7 + $70 shipping. After that sticker shock, I've spooged up my cracked elbow with a bunch of gutter sealant and waiting for it to set. Then try again. Nice work, eh?
