Splitting a Farmall 300 Narrow Front

Last year I had it apart up front, and I renewed the seals there. This has only magnified the leaking at the other end, so with the years mowing behind me, I want to replace the rear main seal and the freeze plug on the rear of the engine. Any recommendations on supporting the two sections. I was planning on building a oak carriage/stand (approximately 6' wide at the base) to bolt to the frame rails for the front end, and a similar carriage on caster wheels bolted to the sides of the bell housing. Any ideas, experiences or reccomendations
