I wasn't going to add to this thread because most know that I have a 4x4 660 and some Electrals.
But I never mentioned my Bay City 3/4 swing shovel/backhoe on tracks. It can be set up either way depending on what boom is attached. The power unit is a 10-20 minus the front bolster and rear wheels. Sprockets replace the wheels and a pair chains drive the tracks. I ran it once and I figure I am lucky to be alive. Lots of exposed gears, hoist drums, sheaves, and cables. It's for sale in Eastern MA. I think it was built in 1932 but that basic design made it into the '50's until hydraulics were perfected.
