Pull one plug wire at a time out of the dist. cap & listen/ look for any change in firing on plugs. I'd look the dist. cap over really well for a hair-line crack. As already mentioned, plugs can be bad right out of the box. I've had first-hand experience with this. Shorted plug. If you are using resistor wiring, could be a high resistance wire.
