That sounds like a good first step. Post your results when you got it rebuilt. When you get ready to install the carburetor, first hook it up to the governor shaft and make sure you get the protrusion in the governor shaft into the slot on the butterfly. Work the throttle lever up and down and make sure the butterfly is opening and closing correctly. Then raise and hookup to the manifold. Don't forget the gasket!
