I picked up on you are trying to adjust your cultivators from side to side.
Suggest you check on the width between inside sidewalls of tires and get that adjusted to your desired row width/spacing. Consult your operators manual.
THEN you should be able to adjust the spacing of your cultivator to where the center line from tire spacing would be the "centerline" while cultivating.
I don't think there is any "gun type sight" per se.
Others may have a different "read" on your question and will likely chime in.
