I think there is a little less then a foot extra length on the SM-TA then a straight M or Super M. Don't know about the MD or Super MD as I don't have either. My SM-TA is longer then my M and I think the main difference is due to the addition of the TA section between the engine and transmission. I assume the MD and SMD have the same component with the TA. There was a thread a year or two ago about the hood length and I measured them on my tractors and the SM-TA was longer but don't recall by how much, Hal.
