Farmall A clutch problem

When i push the clutch it it doesn't do anything! Everything feels absolutely normal. Bearing is great, fingers are great. All are moving and fully depressing! I even thought the disc must somehow be welded to the flywheel so I started it in gear, pushed the clutch and brake but the tractor would stall before it let go (I only tried that once). Any Ideas? I sure don't want to split her.
