One of the 2 metal tabs welded to the gas tank on my M is broken off. (Base is there but the little tab is gone).
Leaves no way to latch the hood.
Is there some clever/alternative way of securing the hood. Concept of removing the tank purging it, filling it with water then trying to braze or weld something on seems like too big a project.
