Went on a trip to Memphis TN this weekend and I have to stop at times when ever I see an equipment dealer and see IH tractors. Going thru Dyersburg TN, there was a SMD that someone added a turbo to. They had it all under the hood, exaust coming out of the hood in a different spot. Chrome stack no muffler. I went inside, wife waited in the truck, and wanted to find out something about it. Said he showed it and used it in antique tractor pulls. It was not for sale. Told me it was turning 65hp. I did not know it was possiable to put a turbo on thoes old motors putting air pressure in thoes intakes. What caught my eye when I saw it from the road, he put TURBO decals on it like 1206 and 66 series tractors.
