Jim, the problem is that it will not shift in forward or reverse. When it is in either gear and you let the clutch out it acts like it wants to move backwards. It moves about 1/2 inch if that much. You can bareley see the back wheels move. The tractor has a high/low for the rear end. It has 1-4 manuel shift in the tranny. It has the shifter beside the steering wheel for forward/reverse. This lifts or pushes a valve in the very front of the tranny. I hope this makes sense. I dont think it is the clutch because I have not smeled any burning like it is slipping. What bothers me is it wants to go backward in forward gear.
