How much for an H

Just found a 1947 H just 15 miles from my home. Still belongs to the original owner who bought it new. Have not seen the tractor yet (Thursday) but is supposed to be in good condition. Has been stored under a roof most of its life. Has an aftermarket 3 pt hitch. Tires are fair (old). He is asking 1200 but will horse trade some. Is 1000 too much for this tractor?
