I do believe the bar that I assumed goes into the release pin under the transmission is the original drawbar. I am also remembering that one end of the bar is curved up and am thinking I may have the darn thing in backwards. I jumped the gun and put a 2 5/8 inch ball in the pull pin hole and am thinking I did indeed screw up. Well anyway thanks to both of you I'll get it figured out.
