There is a block at the base of the seat that both hydraulic lines go through on the way to the Fasthitch cyclinder. It prevents the hitch from falling too fast with a heavy implements. There is a piston in there that may be stuck or dirty. I bypassed mine thinking I would fix it later. It's still disassembled and later hasn't arrived yet. I'm not too motivated to fix it as it works good without it.
