I put PS on my 504 but don't have any pictures. I coupled a torque generator to the input steering shaft in the bolster. Works well. IH used the same TG but put it under the steering wheel. The TG is inside the steering support aluminum casting. That looked like a lousy placement because it stresses the three u-joints in the steering linkage.
IH also used a two port hydrostatic "hand pump" in another system. The pilot valve and flow divider were mounted near the right side of bell housing. That system might have only been used on 2504 but I am not sure. Both systems should be shown in the on-line parts book at the link below.
