Dennis. Your website for paccar was excellent. Contacted a Bill at Paccar. He sent me a parts manual and a service manual for the carcomatic model E winch by email. Additonally he gave me two sources for parts. Contacted County Line Equipment this morning. Talked to Corky and Bill. They sell total winches. Corky asked if I had tried holding the engagement lever in place. He told me he ran an International with carco winch for 10 years by simply holding the engagement lever in place. Moved the crawlers today and proceeded to throw a track while getting down in a stump hole while pushing out the stump. The TD 6 I took to the place where we are clearing has a very good workable carco winch. Hooked the winch line about 6 feet off the ground, held both steering clutches out of gear and pulled myself out of the whole. Tomorrow another project--slacken off the track adjuster jack up the crawler and hopefull without splitting the track get the rail back on the back sproket. Rails are good but machine does not have track guards. Rocks got in between the rollers and track chain. Thanks again for the help. Chris
