before this gets too out of hand, i helped plowhand out with his post. the 9 is kind of an odd ball series tractor. the wix filter interchange number that i got for my 9 a while ago looked nothing like the original i-h filter. had an aluminum ring with fins on it. i called the napa i do business with from my shop for a belt for the wd-9. they showed two numbers. one belt was 96 inches long. definately not the right one. Tom called me today at the shop and we discussed the 9 series, some problems and questions he had on the tractor. Very nice fella to talk to. i always try to answer somebodys post as best as i can.
